Custom Paper Sizes in MS Word

You can select from a wide range of properties to customize the size of your printed materials. There are four properties you can alter. They are labeled Alignment, Margins, Base size, and Color. Additionally, there is an additional property which is useful if you intend to use multiple copies of the same document.

To open the Customized Paper Properties dialog box, click the right arrow button. This button can be located in the main menu of your printer. Under Alignment, there are four different choices including Home, Center, Right-Fit, and Offset. You can change the location of your custom paper by selecting one of these options.

The «flows» tab offers a variety of handy functions including custom page size control including page centering, alignment tools, and justification. To utilize these tools all you need to do is click on them and they’ll be adjusted. To alter the layout, click on the «link icon».

Preset Colors — For older printers, you might need to enter the color you would like each page to print in manually. Modern printers let you choose a custom size paper from a variety of pre-set colors. To access the color palette, click on «color» and you’ll be presented with a color selection. Click on the appropriate color to change the color you select. Click the «backbutton» to return to the color palette.

It should be simple and quick to alter the paper size settings in your printer driver. These tips will allow you to access the different options and settings that your printer driver provides.
